“I’ve had my 08 Volkswagen GTI worked on twice by James and his crew. They installed an intercooler 2 years back and just recently rebuilt my seatbelt assembly and installed new AC. I’ve had no problems and I am extremely pleased by the work that CSP has done on my car. A while back I needed to swap transmissions on my Mk3 Vr6 and wanted to do a complete timing chain overhaul. Along with a new Peloquin LSD and Clutchmasters clutch kit the results were amazing. Upon initial disassembly they noticed some sketchy work that was done by a local shop here in my town and informed me how close I was to catastrophe.
These are the most honest, professional and humble guys I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with! They gave me something nobody else could.. Peace of mind!!!

Do yourself a favor and avoid expensive headaches in the future dealing with low class shops or even the stealership! This is truly a “One Stop Shop” for all VW/Audi/Porsche owners looking to have repairs/maintenance/upgrades done.

“James not only knows what he is doing but is to the point and does not waste your time. He has worked on my VW Jetta in the past and then replaced the whole suspension on an A6. I would recommend his work and his team for sure. Always quick to respond and answer any questions when you have concerns as well. I trust his advice and work!”

“First brought my used 06 MK5 GTI here in 2017 for routine maintenance, after hearing about it for a friend- and haven't brought it anywhere else since! James is knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and honest- and won't screw you over! He does good work and keeps clear lines of communication- and his shop always has awesome Volkswagens, Audis, and even Porsches around from all eras getting work done. He's also the go-to-guy for performance tuning- I've had all of my performance mods installed here and he's always given good advice about my car. If you have a VW, Audi, or Porsche and need an honest maintenance/performance tuning shop- CSP is the place to be!”

“2002 Porsche Boxster - James found what was causing the loose rear suspension rattle that had been annoying me for a number of years - despite having had the car serviced by the local Porsche dealer for years Porsche never found the problem. Turned out to be worn rear control arms. Much cheaper fix than replacing struts which is what I was afraid I'd need. Suspension is now tight and feels like it did years ago. I'll be taking the car to James in the future for the annual service and/or anything else this car needs.”

“I had a 2004 Touareg towed here with transmission problem. Major heavy shifting problem. Over the phone, based on age and mileage they guessed it needed a new valve body. An expensive repair, not good news.

Got a call from them with the good news that there was some broken wiring that appeared to be the problem, and by end of the day the shifting problem was fixed.

If there was ever a situation in which I could have been fleeced, that was it. But they were totally honest, and fixed things up for about 20% of what the VB job would have been.

They seem to know what they're doing, and they don't rip you off. Five stars.”

When a valve gasket gave out i took it to another performance place called KMD TUNING, and they were the worst they gave me a false diagnostic. Took my car to caste for the second time and he fixed everything up for an amazing price. Cars running 110%, still to this day”

“I dropped off my GTI for transmission service and to my surprise When I picked up the car they had checked and upgraded features on the car I didn't know the car had ( closing n opening windows from my key change) was extremely happy they explain all the work in detail n made us feel very comfortable, the moment of truth when I drove my car back home with a Colgate smile! “I don't trust many shops to work on my '66 Ghia Weber-Powered 2332cc but James and his team are without a doubt the premier performance shop in the Metropolitan NY to work on Air-Cooled VW as well as Audi and Porsche. Needed to have transmission and brake work done and James got it done in a timely fashion for the agreed price. I'm certain the shop spent more time on it than I was billed as I noticed special mods they did along the way to eliminate future issues from arising. The shop is the cleanest and most organized I've ever seen and while they have no shortage of cars, they still brought my Black Beauty out from the elements anytime necessary while working on it. I give them a five star rating and would recommend them to anyone with a VW, Porsche or Audi in need of repair or upgrade. In addition, James has always been more than helpful over the phone or via email in helping troubleshoot issues that I might be able to tackle on my own. This kind of generosity is not common in auto repair.”
